DRB Automotive’s Effort to Prevent Counterfeit Parts

DRB Automotive establishes a process to keep counterfeit parts out from the entire process of design, development and manufacturing and put a conscious effort to assure the integrity of its production, continuously.

  • No raw materials or parts that are not approved shall be developed, produced, or used. No counterfeit raw materials and parts are used or sold.
  • Inspection of counterfeit raw materials and parts must be carried out at the worksites regularly, and any case of such shall be notified immediately to relevant authority or customers.
  • All workers must strive to ensure that all raw materials and parts they use are used and distributed in accordance with the purpose of the relevant project.

  • Operating the quality management strategy task, KPI, to realize the best values
  • Improving the management system through a regular quality management diagnosis
  • Maintaining and managing the global management system

2. Quality Control

  • Preventive quality management through product experts program
  • Visiting CS activities : Visiting the worksites of stakeholders, understanding the customers’ needs, and establishing a fast corrective and improvement system
  • On-site quality inspection : Improving potential quality issues through pre-product inspection before delivery
  • Global real-time quality management system (GQMS)

3. Quality Education for Partners

  • Developing quality management experts and inside auditors and examiners
  • Providing seminars with quality management experts
  • Establishing process standards

4. Quality Education & Infrastructure

  • Developing QMS(Quality Management System) experts and inside auditors and examiners
  • Inviting quality management experts and providing technology seminars (education on defect cases)
  • Maintaining and managing the standard documentation system and standard quality measurement certification, as well as support for achievement thereof

5. Customer Satisfaction Survey

  • Performing survey over all completed projects throughout the sectors
  • Collecting VOC of the clients and partners, and analyzing the customer satisfaction results
  • Strengthening feedback by department
